ACT Migration - Allocation of Places under the ACT Migration Program
On 2 September 2025, the Australian government announced that the planning levels for the 2025-26 permanent Migration Program will be set at 185,000 places, maintaining 2024-25 levels. Of the 185,000 places, it awarded 20,350 places in total to the States/Territories Migration program. This is a reduction in the amount awarded in the previous year.
