About the Founder, Mr Jason Browne

Jason Browne is the founding director of Canberra Visa & Migration Services and a Registered Migration Agent with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) (MARN 1576529). 

Based in Canberra, Jason advises individuals, families and employers in Australia and all over the world. His work covers employer-sponsored visas and compliance, family migration, Australian citizenship, complex visa and citizenship matters, and reviews before the Administrative Review Tribunal. He is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality throughout his work.

Jason has more than 10 years of experience in Australian migration law and practice. Before establishing Canberra Visa & Migration Services, he worked as a migration lawyer at Hammond Taylor Migration in Melbourne, advising Australian and international businesses on migration matters.

Jason previously worked as a visa and passport officer with Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs. He has also worked as a university law lecturer and as a corporate lawyer with an international law firm.

This combination of migration, government, academic and corporate experience helps Jason understand both the legal requirements of a visa application and the practical needs of his clients.
