MEET THE FOUNDER

Jason Browne Immigration Lawyer

Jason is the director of Canberra Visa & Migration Services. He has more 10 years of experience in migration law. Previously, he was a lawyer at Hammond Taylor Migration, a leading immigration law firm in Melbourne.  He has considerable experience representing Australian, multinational and global companies. He is a trusted advisor who prides himself on providing clear and strategic advice when navigating complex legal landscape for his clients. He understands the importance of truly understanding his clients, including the industries they operate in and the pressures that drive them to succeed.

Jason's broad and specialized experience includes employer-sponsored visas and compliance, family migration and Australian citizenship. He also has experience representing clients at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Having this wide range of experience means that Jason is equipped to think outside the box and support his clients to achieve cost-effective immigration solutions.

Jason previously worked as a visa and passport officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs (Ireland). He also worked as university law lecturer and as a corporate lawyer with a leading international corporate law firm. 

 

He is a member of the Law Society of the ACT, the Migration Institute of Australia and Migration Alliance. Australia.
