The Training visa (Subclass 407) allows an Australian empployer to sponsor a trainee to work in its business for up to 2 years.
The visa allows people to take part in workplace-based training to imporve their skills fo their job, area of tertiary study, field of expertise or in a professional development training program in Australia.
To apply for this visa, the visa applicant must have an approved sponsor and the business must nominate the person to undertake the training.

What happens if you fail the Australian Citizenship test?Failing the test does not affect your permanent visa or stop you from living in Australia. If you fail the test, we will book another appointment for you. There is no extra cost for sitting the test again. If you do not pass the test after three appointments, your citizenship application may be refused.
