To apply for a student visa, you must:
enrol with an Australian education provider and obtain a confirmation of enrolment;
meet the English language requirements;
have adequate health insurance;
have enough money for your stay;
be a genuine student;
meet health and character requirements;
With this visa you can

study in Australia (you will not receive government support);
travel to and from Australia as many times as you want;
work up to 48 hours a fortnight when course of study is in session.

What happens if you fail the Australian Citizenship test?Failing the test does not affect your permanent visa or stop you from living in Australia. If you fail the test, we will book another appointment for you. There is no extra cost for sitting the test again. If you do not pass the test after three appointments, your citizenship application may be refused.
